Hi, Hope this is ok, couldn't figure out if there was somewhere else to put this. I have had a go at using BIABacus for the first time. Thanks Joshua,

How do you find out the required head space and work out the size barrel you need? Is there a formula for that?

I think I'm tempted to look into 20pt brews. Seems do-able I think...

I've been reading up on the maxiBIAB technique, would you recommend just going for a simple set up, producing 20pt-uk to start then progress later?

If barreling to condition does it matter the size of the barrel?

Newbie set-up

Hi, Really want to get in to home brewing. Haven't heard great thinks about kits and extract seems expensive, so after much research I feel brew in a bag is my best starting point.
