Re: East Fremantle Brew Day - Sun 19th

Lol, sinkas! It was hard work indeed but glad for those who could make it in drips and drabs. Next time we'll have to put it on facebook to ensure plenty of helpers! I'm pretty sure Patch pitched the candi syrup on Friday, and as far as I know all temps have been within range and no dramatic blow-of...

Re: What's Happening to BIABrewer in 2017

This is probably the most appropriate "official" post to do next... BIABrewer.info Community Achievements Before touching on the new site, it's important to look at how far BIABrewer.info has come. These impressive achievements have had, and will continue to have, far-reaching consequences; not just...

Re: East Fremantle Brew Day - Sun 19th

Yeasty - thanks for that file! I think Sinkas might have something too (the Belgian was his idea) - strong is good!
Lukas - not sure of mash in time, but the Belgian will need about a 2.5 hour boil so probably start in the morning, we usually flame on around 9-10am from memory!

Re: My First Post! - Post here to become Fully Registered

Welcome, Mike! I had the best time there tailgating at a Cubs game - wish I could come back again! We don't even have tailgating in Australia can you believe it  :nup: So many cool craft beer bars in the city and great breweries near you! Feel free to ask lots of questions here, there are a fair few...

Gaidīts, Luka from Latvia! There's a tonne of information on this site, but your most valuable tool in BIAB will be the BIABacus - it might look scary at first, but you will get used to it and soon wonder how you ever went without it! Feel free to ask lots of questions also. Cheers :luck:

Re: What's Happening to BIABrewer in 2017

Hi guys, Patch has just changed Gold Members over to viewing the Gold Skin (about 15 minutes ago.) There are a few important things to note: 1. The Gold Skin shows the same content as the temporary skin, so don't expect any new content. 2. Please report any bugs in the Gold Skin Bugs thread. 3. If ...

Haha Lumpy - you do realise that Foster's is neither made nor even sold in Australia!
I've never even seen it in real life!
So if you ever come across a bottle, let me know what it tastes like!

Re: What's Happening to BIABrewer in 2017

Why 2017 (and not before?) - In Brief  Our goal, for quite some time, has been to create a new and improved site - good-looking, fast, easy-to-use, fun and informative. To do this required the right information, technology and structure, plus the time to put it all together. Developing the right in...

Hey Lumpy,
That's a brilliant question - Pat will answer this within the next 24 hours.
It's a pretty cool system and, don't worry, what you mentioned won't be an issue.
Thanks for kicking off the questions!

Hey fellas (where are all the other female brewers hiding??) - thanks again for all the support! Firstly, I must refer to my previous post where I said we'd be focussing on adding more info about BIPs. In hindsight, we think the less we write the better. It might be easier and more informative for e...
