Adding LME or DME to fermenter??

Hello this is my third batch of beer and i missed my OG by quite a bit. My target OG was 1.046 and i only achieved 1.032. I think i may have missed my target because i milled my own grain this time around. I was wondering would it be too late to add DME or LME after three days of fermenting??(my yeast was US-05) Or do you think i should leave it alone??

I have never done that, but the yeast would work on that too.
